The idea behind the Sustainability Reports

Sustainability as a concept is here to stay. It has now led to a major "project of change" in business and society. More comprehensive than we have thought and seen so far.

As a consequence, all companies that mean business must have “sustainability’” incorporated into their DNA, strategy, etc. A “project” or a thin layer of “pretense sustainability” will not suffice.

In 2020-2021, everyone is searching. The 13 reports from the governmental Climate Partnerships have provided directions, elements, and frameworks. But there is a lack of concrete solutions and probably also a major lack of innovation - ideation?

Aalund's sustainability reports are intended to provide useful input for further planning for companies (of all sizes) and other sustainability stakeholders. The focus is on creating need-to-know information as well as inspiration. Input and inspiration is gathered from 8 sustainability stakeholders.

We see several stages of maturity in the upcoming sustainability years:

1. Climate in the sense of CO2, typically leading to energy-related changes. This includes the release of other substances into the air and water. Or into the soil.
2. Circular economy in which sustainability concerns economically profitable “recycling”. Or something that is re-created. Models for this exist in different sectors and industries.
3. Biodiversity must be reestablished and there needs to be more nature in cities.
4. At the highest level, resources are only used if they can be restored. Or you may use less of a resource than what is restored each year.

The segment reports generally cost DKK 80,000 each, excluding VAT. However, comprehensive customisation according to customer needs can be added, which will lead to a price increase. Conversely, the unit price can be reduced if a package with several segment reports is ordered.
