1. Substance
In the years leading up to the turn of the millennium, it became clear that large online marketplaces would arise.

In an effort to offer our B2B customers research on online markets, we established a new subsidiary, later named Market Scape.

As is often the case when you start early, the business foundation ended up in a different place than we had originally imagined.

The main activities became research for large international customers regarding monitoring of competitors, patent monitoring/technology monitoring, online market reports, etc.


2. Benefits
The benefit was that our customers gained continuous insight into online developments in these areas.

And sorted information in terms of nature as well as in terms of who should receive the information.

A number of manual and time-consuming internal activities could be eliminated.

Ten years later, the company was sold in a management buyout.
